Basic Butter Slime
โญ Easy ยท ๐ซง Slime ยท โฐ ~20 minutes
Butter slime is the smoothest, most spreadable slime you can make. It's called butter slime because it
literally spreads like butter! It's perfect for beginners ๐
๐ You'll need:
White PVA glue
Shaving foam
Contact lens solution
Bicarbonate of soda
Model Magic clay
Food colouring
Glitter (lots!) โจ
1Squirt about half a cup of white PVA glue into a bowl. This is your slime base!
2Add a big squirt of shaving foam and mix it in until everything is fluffy and combined. ๐ซง
3Add a few drops of your favourite food colouring and mix well. We love purple and pink! ๐๐
4Add a pinch of bicarbonate of soda and stir it in completely.
5Slowly add contact lens solution, a tiny bit at a time, stirring constantly. The slime will start to come together and pull away from the bowl.
6When it's not sticky anymore, take it out and knead it with your hands for 2-3 minutes.
7Pinch off a small piece of Model Magic clay and knead it into your slime to make it buttery smooth!
8Add ALL the glitter โจ and knead it in. Now play with it and enjoy!
๐ก Emily's tip: If your slime is too sticky, add a tiny drop more contact lens solution. If it's too stiff, add a smidge more glue!

Fluffy Cloud Slime
โญ Easy ยท ๐ซง Slime ยท โฐ ~25 minutes
Cloud slime is famous for its incredible "drizzle" texture โ it drips and folds like a real cloud! The secret ingredient is fake snow powder. โ๏ธโจ
๐ You'll need:
White PVA glue
Fake snow powder
Contact lens solution
Bicarbonate of soda
White food colouring (optional)
Iridescent glitter โจ
1Pour half a cup of white PVA glue into a bowl.
2Add a pinch of bicarbonate of soda and mix well.
3Slowly add contact lens solution, a tiny bit at a time, until you have a slime that isn't too sticky. Knead for 2 minutes.
4In a separate cup, mix fake snow powder with a tiny bit of water until it looks like real snow โ๏ธ
5Slowly fold the fake snow into your slime, a little bit at a time. Don't add it all at once!
6Keep folding until the slime drapes and drizzles like a cloud when you hold it up โ๏ธ
7Add iridescent glitter to make it look magical and sparkly! โจ
๐ก Amber's tip: If you add too much snow and it gets watery, just let it sit for 10 minutes and it'll absorb back in!

Rainbow Layer Slime
โญโญ Medium ยท ๐ซง Slime ยท โฐ ~45 minutes
This one looks SO impressive! You make 7 small batches of basic slime in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet โ then layer them up in a jar! ๐
๐ You'll need:
White PVA glue (big bottle)
Contact lens solution
Bicarbonate of soda
Food colouring (7 colours)
7 small bowls
A clear jar
Lots of glitter โจ
1Make 7 small batches of basic slime (follow the butter slime recipe but smaller amounts). Put each one in a separate bowl.
2Colour each batch: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. Add glitter to each one! โจ
3Take a clear jar and gently press the red slime into the bottom. Smooth it as flat as you can.
4Carefully add the orange slime on top. Press gently so the layers stay separate.
5Keep going with yellow, green, blue, indigo, then violet on top!
6Put the lid on and show everyone your amazing rainbow slime! ๐
๐ก Pro tip: Do this SLOWLY! The slower you layer, the more the colours stay separate and it looks even more amazing!
โ ๏ธ Ask a grown-up to help! Resin is amazing but you need to use it carefully. Always work in a well-ventilated space and wear gloves!
๐ You'll need:
UV or 2-part resin
Keyring moulds
Lots of glitter โจ
Holographic foil bits
Keyring clips
Disposable gloves
UV lamp (for UV resin)
1Put your gloves on! Mix your resin according to the instructions on the bottle.
2Add loads of glitter and holographic foil to the resin and stir gently. ๐โจ
3Pour the mixture into your keyring moulds. Fill them about 3/4 full.
4Poke any bubbles with a toothpick. You can also breathe gently over the surface to pop them!
5For UV resin: put under a UV lamp for 2-3 minutes. For 2-part resin: leave overnight to cure.
6Carefully pop the keyrings out of the moulds and attach your keyring clips. Done! ๐
๐ก Emily's tip: Layer different coloured glitters in the mould before pouring resin for a really deep, sparkly effect!

Your First 3D Print!
โญโญโญ Advanced ยท ๐จ๏ธ 3D Printing ยท โฐ 2+ hours
3D printing sounds scary but it's actually really fun! ๐จ๏ธ You'll need access to a 3D printer. Ask at school or your local library โ lots of them have one!
๐ You'll need:
A 3D printer
PLA filament (any colour!)
Free design software (Tinkercad)
A computer
Sandpaper (optional)
Paint & glitter (for finishing!)
1Go to tinkercad.com and make a free account. It's completely free and designed for beginners!
2Start a new design and drag in some shapes. Try making a simple star or heart for your first design!
3Export your design as an STL file (there's a button for this in Tinkercad). โฌ๏ธ
4Open the STL file in your 3D printer's slicer software (like Cura). Set layer height to 0.2mm for a nice smooth print.
5Send the print to your printer and press start! Watch it print โ it's so mesmerising! ๐
6Once done, carefully remove it from the print bed. You might need to sand the bottom a little.
7Paint it, add glitter, attach a keyring โ make it totally yours! โจ
๐ก Amber's tip: We use pink and purple filament for everything! Silk PLA filament makes things look extra shiny and professional ๐
These make the BEST gifts for mums, grandmas, and teachers! ๐ You need to be patient and wait a couple of weeks for the flowers to press, but it's SO worth it!
๐ You'll need:
Fresh flowers & leaves
Heavy books
Blotting paper / newspaper
Cardstock
Clear laminating sheets
Ribbon
Scissors & hole punch
1Pick your flowers! Flat flowers like pansies and daisies work best ๐ผ. Gently remove any thick stems.
2Place flowers between two sheets of blotting paper and put inside a heavy book. Stack more books on top!
3Wait 2 weeks. Change the paper after the first week if it feels damp. โฐ
4Cut cardstock into bookmark shapes (about 5cm x 20cm).
5Arrange your pressed flowers on the card and glue them down carefully.
6Laminate the bookmark to protect it. Punch a hole at the top and thread ribbon through! ๐
๐ก Tip: Mix flowers with little leaves and ferns to make it look really fancy! ๐ฟ

Polymer Clay Charms
โญโญ Medium ยท โ๏ธ Craft ยท โฐ ~1 hour
Polymer clay is AMAZING โ you can make literally anything out of it and then bake it in the oven and it's hard forever! Perfect for keyrings, phone charms and jewellery ๐
๐ You'll need:
Polymer clay (Fimo or Sculpey)
Rolling pin (mini one is great!)
Clay cutters / cookie cutters
Toothpick or skewer
Baking tray + parchment paper
Varnish (to finish)
Glitter (of course!) โจ
1Condition your clay by squishing and rolling it until it's soft and smooth. This makes it easier to work with!
2Choose your shapes! Stars, hearts, unicorns, flowers... anything goes. You can mix colours together for a marbled effect ๐
3Roll the clay to about 3mm thickness and press out your shapes with cutters, or sculpt them by hand.
4Before baking, use a toothpick to poke a hole at the top of each charm for the keyring to go through! โ ๏ธ Really important!
5Place on a parchment-lined tray and bake at 110ยฐC for 30 minutes. Ask a grown-up to help! โฐ
6Let cool completely then sand if needed. Paint details and add glitter, then seal with varnish. โจ
7Thread keyring loops through the holes and you're done! Wear them, gift them, sell them! ๐ฆ
๐ก Amber's tip: Mix a tiny bit of glitter INTO the clay before baking โ it makes the charms sparkle even without painting! โจ
